Perfection

Colossians 3:10-11 - Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see all your mistakes and failures? Do you see more "second chances" than any one person deserves? Sometimes it's hard not to see these things. But this isn't how God sees us. God sees us as perfect through Jesus Christ.

God doesn't enhance, He completes. He doesn't fix, He re-creates. He doesn't improve, He perfects. God doesn't see us as working toward or trying to be better. God sees us as his children. He sees us as his greatest creation. And through the sacrifice of Jesus, He sees us as ... "Perfection".
