Rest

2 Thessalonians 1:6-7 - In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.  And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted

Rest is defined as the cessation of an activity or quiet relaxation. In these days and times, who couldn't use some rest? Sometimes we try so hard to fix problems within our lives that we become so entangled in the issue that we lose sight of God. It's like the saying, "You can't see the forest for all the trees". You begin to focus on the problem rather than the solution.

All God wants is for us to look to him for the answer. God has promised us rest in the middle of the storms of our lives. He will answer our prayers and solve our problems if we will only let him. He wants to give us rest and to renew our strength. Resting in times of trouble doesn't mean that we've given up but rather that we've realized that the trouble is bigger than us. It means we know that it is not bigger than our God and it is time to step aside and let God be God. Through every struggle, God is standing beside you ready to meet your every need according to His will and to give you ... "Rest".
