Jesus goes by many names in the Bible. There is one name that I have recently learned to lean on. Jehovah - Jireh, my provider. When we come to that point in our lives when we realize there is nothing else we can do, God can. Matthew 6:26 - Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And are not you far more valuable to him than they are? If our Heavenly Father cares enough to make sure the animals are fed everyday, how much more will he provide for his children. We are his children. He loves us more than anything else. He desires to provide for our every need if we only will let him.
Matthew 6:31-33 - “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. If we believe and get out of our own way, God will provide our every need. It may not be how or what or even when we thought, but he will provide. His Will, will be done. Regardless of your situation, release your doubt and replace it with faith. Jesus is already in tomorrow and ready to handle anything that arises. Stop worrying about tomorrow and live today. Because Jesus is .... Jehovah - Jireh, Our Provider.
